Ms.
Ruttan is a Senior Researcher with Renaud Foster and supports the
Executive search side of the business with research, sourcing, screening,
interviewing and references.
She has a wealth of experience working in the non-profit sector
in the field of Communications and Public Relations. She has worked
for a number of years as a journalist and photographer for various
publications in Ottawa and Barrie, Ontario.
In the past she has worked to address the issue of violence against
women with the Native Women’s Association of Canada, Sisters
In Spirit initiative, the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre, Crime Prevention
Ottawa, the Feminist Alliance for International Action and the Women’s
Resource Centre at the University of Ottawa.
Ms. Ruttan has obtained a Master’s degree in Communications
from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor’s degree in
Communications from the University of Ottawa.
She is an active volunteer within the violence against women community
in Ottawa, and has spent her free time raising awareness with the
Public Education team at the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre for the past
6 years. In 2010, she was a consultant with the Ottawa Rape Crisis
Centre for the ‘Ottawa Sexual Assault Survivors Consultations"
with the Ontario Women's Directorate for the development of Ontario
Sexual Assault Action Plan.
She is fluent in English, French and conversant in Spanish.
