| Elizabeth
is recognized for her ability to understand leadership and governance
practices and the challenges of implementing them in organizations.
Her practical approach has resulted in effective and efficient improvements,
all while engaging corporate staff and directors in both strategic
and operational redesign. She has excellent project management skills
both with strong application and as a project management trainer
for Ernst & Young. Ms. Cross Nichol has sat on three boards
as well as consulted to a dozen others on governance and accountability
issues. Elizabeth has alternately consulted for 10 years and worked
in the public and private sector in a variety of industries including
academia, health care, technology, financial services, and data
management services in both Canada and the United States for longer.
Ms. Cross Nichol has a Masters in Business Administration from
Boston University and a graduate level certificate in Health Administration.
In her spare time, Ms. Cross Nichol enjoys any type of winter sports
and trains for triathalons. She is passionate about math education
in schools.
