Hay Group is in search of a results-driven and experienced Senior Reward Consultant to join its office in Ottawa.

SCOPE

As part of the Eastern Ontario team, the Senior Regional Reward Consultant will manage client relationships, business development (current and new) and project delivery for clients in Ottawa and the surrounding area with an important focus on the broader public service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Spokesperson for Hay Group on Compensation issues and trends
  • Client relationship management
  • Business development, design and sales presentation
  • Project delivery and follow-up with focus on the broad public service
  • Reward strategy, design and implementation
  • Total rewards benchmarking and design
  • Incentive design and consulting
  • Job analysis, job evaluation and work analysis
  • Group facilitation
  • Performance management
  • Developing and implementing integrated business solutions (e.g. reward and talent management)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
    Education:
    • Undergraduate degree preferably in a relevant field such as HR, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, Management (MA/MBA/MPA an asset)
    Experience:
    • Several years’ consulting experience, in human resources management in the private or public sectors.
    • A developed reputation as a trusted thought partner to colleagues and/or clients
    • Demonstrated record of senior management experience and client service approach
    • A track record of business development success both with existing and new clients
    • Experience in the mentorship of colleagues
    • Expertise in job analysis, job evaluation and work analysis
    • Expertise in reward strategy, design and implementation
    • Expertise in total rewards benchmarking and design
    • Incentive design and consulting
